• The carefree spirit and sense of joy you breathe in the air are contagious and truly engaging. Our staff is made up almost entirely of former students who have known this reality for many years. It’s not easy to describe the atmosphere that develops when you share every moment of the day together. For all of us, this is the best place to work, and we pass that same love and enthusiasm on to the young people we host.
  

• For our meals, we mainly use organic food and local ingredients, including wild herbs and products from the island, to create simple and genuine dishes. We follow a balanced and healthy diet in line with the level of physical activity, limiting the use of meat and selecting only the highest quality from trusted farmers.

• It’s not just sailing. The days are enriched with many activities that allow us to experience the sea and the island from every perspective. We organize snorkeling sessions, coastal explorations, stargazing, yoga, and more.

• Our fleet is diverse and constantly updated, allowing everyone to continue growing and improving. We have several types of training boats available: collective dinghies for beginners, double and single dinghies for more advanced sailors, acrobatic sailing dinghies, and, new this year, a foil boat capable of lifting above the water.

• Our sailing base is located right by the beach and offers large green spaces shaded by beautiful trees, an outdoor classroom, hammocks for relaxing, a climbing wall, ping pong, foosball, and many other games.

Ventotene Sailing Camp is the perfect experience, whether you’re traveling solo or with friends.

The fee includes:

• Accommodation at our guesthouse.

• All meals: breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner, prepared with organic ingredients and seasonal local products from the island.

• Sailing lessons at various levels, from beginner to advanced.

• Two guided tours: the Roman Villa of Giulia and the ancient Roman cisterns.

• Offshore swims by inflatable boat, canoe trips, beach volleyball, climbing, and excursions around the island.

• Welcome aperitivo.

• Evening group activities, games, stargazing, parties, and music.

• Sports insurance and membership registration.

• Round trip travel to reach and leave the island.

  Bed sheets, pillowcases, and towels, which participants must bring with them.

To register for Ventotene Sailing Camp, you need to complete the online form, pay a deposit, and then settle the remaining balance. A medical certificate is optional at the time of registration but mandatory before the start of the course.

• From Northern or Central Italy: take a train or flight to Rome, then a train to Formia, where ferries and hydrofoils depart for Ventotene.

• From Southern Italy: regular hydrofoils depart from Naples to Ventotene.

Our main facilities on the island are two: the sailing base and the guesthouse.

• The sailing base:

We have a large sailing base located next to Calarossano Beach, set in greenery on a 5,000 square meter property. It includes two outdoor classrooms, a sail storage area where all equipment used for sea outings is kept, a workshop for repairs, and a large shaded area under the trees equipped with deck chairs, hammocks, and wooden structures. There are also foosball tables, a ping pong table, outdoor showers, and a grass volleyball court.

• The guesthouse:

It is a structure surrounded by greenery, located about a 15 minute walk from the center of the island.

There are several indoor and outdoor common areas, a lawn for stargazing, a foosball table, a ping pong table, and many board games.

You should bring:

• A personal water bottle.

• A set of single bed sheets with a pillowcase.

• Comfortable and sporty clothing, such as a tracksuit, athletic shorts for sailing, T shirts, sweatshirts, comfortable sneakers, and beach shoes.

• Personal hygiene items and towels.

• A mask with snorkel and fins may be useful but are not essential.

• Sunglasses and a hat are recommended for sailing outings.

The age range for Ventotene Sailing Camp is between 18 and 35, and we welcome participants from all over the world.
